Rural Generalists are another label for a Country GP or Family Medicine Specialist but often they also cover multiple roles within a community health service that in a larger city would be done by different specialists. This can mean less time is available for regular GP appointments or they may need last minute rescheduling if something comes up at the hospital. A Rural Generalist Obstetrician has done advanced training in pregnancy care and womens health.

Yes. Bulk billing is term referring to a health professional accepting the patient's medicare rebate instead of an out-of-pocket cost to the patient, essentially providing the service at a discount. Dr Emily Treasure bulk bills in accordance with the incentive payments for children under the age of 16 and patients with a Commonwealth concession card. Please let her know if you are under financial stress, for example a student, unemployed or unstable work, though bulk billing is not guaranteed.
Whilst it is possible to use your private health insurance during your stay in hospital, Dr Emily is unable to guarantee being solely oncall for a patient unless scheduled otherwise due to family commitments. Instead she practices a 1:4 oncall roster.
